The Owner
Anyone that knows Chad knows Harlan, his best buddy, a Portuguese Water Dog and model for the logo. Chad’s affection for animals has been life long including pets such as snakes, rats, spiders, frogs, lizards and of course dogs. He was introduced to the concept of a self-service dog wash by Dave Henderson at Two Brothers Dog Wash, in his hometown of Virginia Beach, VA. After spending some time learning about operations from Dave he then traveled to Fayetteville, Arkansas to consult with Chris and Patty Deen of Bark and Paws. They generously offered mentoring to Chad and are enthusiastic supporters. These two shops represent excellence in this industry, which Chad is bringing to Charleston with Island Dog Pet Wash and Market.
